Thank you for visiting us at Sibos 2015 in Singapore, held from October 12 to October 15.

Sibos 2015 was the 37th SWIFT annual conference, and this was held in Singapore for the second time. With Over 8,200 attendees, it was the largest ever in Asia, and the second largest as a whole. 44% of the attendees came from EMEA, 12% from the Americas, and 44% from the APAC. More than 300 people from Japan attended this event, and there were more than 250 sessions held with the buzzword "Blockchain" dominating the scene.

Co-exhibiting with NTT DATA Group, we designed our booth with our corporate colors, blue and white with a theme of Singapore scenery. The booth was equipped with a theatre space and 12 sessions were planned throughout the 4 days of the event. NTT DATA Getronics took part in the session “ISO 20022 adoption and cross-border CSD-RTGS linkages in ASEAN +3”. This session was organized by NTT DATA in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, JASDEC (Japan Securities Depository Center, Incorporated), SWIFT, NTT DATA, and NTT DATA Getronics. And they discussed the ISO 20022 adoption in ASEAN area and AMBF (ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum) in each point of view.

NTT DATA Getronics also presented an Open Theatre session this year, for the fourth time in a row. On the third day in Singapore, NTT DATA Getronics held a collaborative session with one of our clients, Mr. Yang Sun Low, General Manager and Head of Transaction Banking Solution Department, Asia Pacific Division at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (hereafter SMBC), and Mr. Enrico Camerinelli, Senior Analyst at Aite Group.
Mr. Camerinelli described the latest trends and gave insight on the Transaction Banking area, and Mr. Low explained how banks like SMBC are addressing the different corporate needs. Then Mr. Watanabe, General Manager at NTT DATA Getronics, gave some thoughts on how the transaction banking systems should be designed.
